Copenhagen Kastrup LogoCopenhagen Kastrup is the main international airport of Denmark. It is the largest airport in the Nodic countries with 24.1 million passengers per year in 2013 and one of the oldest international airports in Europe. The airport is the main hub out of three used by Scandinavian Airlines and is also an operating base for Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia and Norwegian Air Shuttle.
The airport opens for service in 1925. One of the first private airports in the world, it opens with a grass runway.
