Kiev Boryspil logoKiev Boryspil is the country’s largest airport, serving almost 8 million passengers in 2013. The airport is the hub for Ukraine International Airlines.
In June 1959, the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR ordered the establishment of regular civil air traffic to the then military airfield near Boryspil. In July 1959 the new airport (named Kyiv-Tsentralnyi) received its first scheduled flight.
