Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is the main airport of Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province, China. It is the main hub of China Southern Airlines.
In 2014, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport was China’s second busiest and world’s 15th busiest airport by passenger traffic, with 54 million passengers handled.
The airport opened in 2004 as a replacement for the 72-year-old, identically named old airport, which is now closed.
