London City Airways

London City Airways logoLondon City Airways was a former British airline which was founded in 1986 by British Midland to operate services from London City Airport. The company was originally known as Eurocity Express.
Operations began in the summer of 1987 to Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris. In 1988, the airline was renamed as London City Airways so as to identify more closely with its base. The airline was closed in 1990 following sustained financial losses.
