Abidjan Félix-Houphouët-Boigny Airport

Abidjan Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport, also known as Port Bouët Airport, is the largest airport in the country for air traffic (2 million passengers in 2017). The airport is the main hub of the national airline Air Côte d’Ivoire. Félix Houphouët-Boigny international Airport is connected to Europe  primarily via Air France.
Félix Houphouët-Boigny, affectionately called Papa Houphouët or Le Vieux (The Old One), was the first President of Ivory Coast (1960 to 1993), serving for more than three decades until his death.
