Istanbul Airlines was a Turkish charter airline , which in 1996 also operated scheduled flights.
The airline was founded in 1985 by private investors and started operations in 1986. In the 1990s, Istanbul Airlines became one of the leading Turkish charter airlines.
In 2000 Istanbul Airlines fell into financial difficulties and ceased operations in the same year.
