BRA

BRA (Brasil Rodo Aéreo) Transportes Aéreos was a short-life Brazilian low-fare airline in Brazil, which used to operate both domestic and international scheduled services, as well as charter flights. Its main base was Sao Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport.
The airline was established and started operations in 1999. It was formed as a domestic charter airline Brasil Rodo Aéreo and transformed itself into a low-fare airline from 2006 rebranded as BRA Transportes Aéreos. In 2007 BRA had started a code-share agreement with OceanAir increasing substantially their domestic destinations. In  November 2007 BRA requested to suspend all of its flights. In 2009 the airline was back in operations with charters flights. In June 2009 BRA had its authorization to operate non-regular passenger renewed for one year by the Brazilian Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC). Therefore, BRA operates flights on behalf of other airlines or parties, as contracted.
