JetLite

JetLite was an airline based in Mumbai, India, owned by Jet Airways, the airline operated scheduled services connecting metropolitan centres in India.
The airline was established in 1991 and began operations in 1993 as Sahara Airlines. Sahara Airlines was rebranded as Air Sahara in 2000. In 2004 it became an international carrier.  Jet Airways announced its first takeover attempt in 2006. The deal was eventually called off. A second, successful attempt was made in 2007. Jet Airways announced that Air Sahara will be renamed as JetLiteJetLite ended service in 2012 after merger with Jet Konnect, a division of Jet Airways.
