Athens Airport

Athens Airport logoAthens Eleftherios Venizelos is Greece’s biggest airport. It serves as the hub and base for Aegean Airlines. The airport serves just under 13 million passengers annually and its name honours the Greek statesman Eleftherios Venizelos.
The airport was opened in 2001 to replace the now-closed Athens Ellinikon International Airport.
