Houari Boumediene

Houari Boumediene logoHouari Boumediene Airport, also known asĀ Algiers International Airport, is the main international airport in Algeria. The airport is named after Houari Boumediene, a former president of Algeria.
The airport was created in 1924 and named Maison Blanche Airport. In 2013 the airport handled almost 6 million passengers. It is the hub for Air Algerie.
