Ellinair is a Greek airline. It was established in 2013, while its first flight was operated in 2014. The airline operates direct flights from its main hub at Thessaloniki International Airport and from Athens International Airport.
The company is a member of Mouzenidis Group, and it was originally created in order to serve the high volume of tourists, mainly from Russia, who visit Greece by Mouzenidis Travel. The name Ellinair is a combination of the words “Έλλην” (Ellin – “Greek”) and “air”.
