Qatar Airways Company Q.C.S.C., operating as Qatar Airways, is the state-owned flag carrier of Qatar. It operates a hub-and-spoke network, linking over 100 international destinations from its base in Doha. In October 2012 was announced that Qatar Airways would join the Oneworld alliance in late 2013 or early 2014.
Qatar Airways was established in 1993 and started its operations in 1994. In 2002, the Government of Qatar withdrew from Gulf Air.
