S.C. Compania Națională de Transporturi Aeriene Române TAROM S.A., doing business as TAROM, is the flag carrier and oldest currently operating airline of Romania, with its main hub at Henri Coanda International Airport. The airline joined Sky Team in 2010.
Romania’s first national airline was founded in 1920 under the name CFRNA. In 1954, the airline adopted the name of TAROM. 1966 saw the operation of its first transatlantic flight.
