T’way Airlines

T’way Air Co., Ltd., operating as T’way Airlines is a low-cost airline, offering scheduled flights between Seoul Gimpo Airport and Jeju International Airport.
The airline was established in 2004 as Hansung Airlines.  The first commercial flight took place in 2005. In December 2005 Hansung Airlines suspended all services due to budgetary constraints. In  February 2006, flights could be resumed, but financial difficulties remained, resulting in another shut-down in October 2008, which lasted nearly two years. The airline was formally re-launched in August 2010, now under the changed name T’way Air co., Ltd.
