Zurich Airport, also known as Zurich Kloten Airport, is the largest international airport of Switzerland and the principal hub of Swiss International Air Lines. Zurich Airport handled 24.8 million passengers in 2013.
The construction of the airport began in 1946. The first flights were not until 1948.
